Prior to the founding of the Center for Buddhist Studies in 2017, the Department of East Asian Studies hosted a regular Buddhist Studies lecture series, with support from the Khyentse Foundation. With continued support from the Khyentse Foundation and through a new partnership with the Pu Yin Educational Center, the Center for Buddhist Studies will host two series of lectures: the Khyentse Foundation Buddhist Studies Lecture Series and the Pu Yin Buddhist Studies Lecture Series.
