The CBS donor Dr. Su Wukang recently visited the center from China and was warmly welcomed by the College of Humanities, Department of East Asian Studies, and Center for Buddhist Studies. On behalf of the College of Humanities, Dean Alain-Philippe Durand presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Su.
Dr. Su Wukang苏武康was born in 1970 and earned his Ph. D degree from Nankai University in 2003. He is a successful businessman and researcher specializing in stock trading and security investment. He published a monograph entitled The Share-holding Structure and Corporation Performance among China’s Publicly Traded Companies (Zhongguo shangshi gongsi guquan jiegou yu gongsi jixiao中国上市公司股权结构与公司绩效), which was published in 2003. For now, he is managing an investment company in Shenzhen, China, focusing on security investment in secondary market.
