Jinhui Wu, doctoral student of the Department of East Asian Studies, was recently awarded the 2017-2018 College of Humanities Graduate Student Research Grant at the University of Arizona. Jinhui works on literature and religion in late imperial China. The initial stage of her proposed dissertation project, titled " The Transformation of Buddhist Cosmology in Early Modern China: A Study of Establishment of the Dharma-Field with Illustrations (Fajie anli tu) " was selected for support at the amount of $5,000.
