Jinhui Wu Receives Graduate Fellowship 2020-21 from the National Center for Interpretation (NCI)

Jinhui Wu is doctoral candidate and research associate of the Department of East Asian Studies. Her proposal, titled: “Chinese Buddhist Cosmology and Cosmography in Early Modern China— Translation of the Fajie anli tu,” submitted to the National Center for Interpretation (NCI) Graduate Fellowship competition was selected to receive an award in the amount of $5,959 for 2020-21. 

 

This translation project is a part of Jinhui’s dissertation which examines a rarely-discussed Buddhist cosmological text of the 17th century China titled the Fajie anli tu.
