The Center for Buddhist Studies at the University of Arizona is delighted to invite you to a special online music concert by Zen monk and renowned singer Yakushiji Kanho. This musical event is a replay of the concert commemorating the 350th anniversary of Zen Master Yinyuan Longqi's passing and celebrating his profound legacy as a poet, spiritual leader, and founder of the Japanese Ōbaku School.

About Kanho Yakushiji

A Zen monk and accomplished musician, Kanho Yakushiji bridges the sacred and artistic through his music, offering listeners around the world an immersive Zen experience. As the 16th-generation caretaker of Kaizenji Temple, he has devoted his life to harmonizing Zen practice with artistic expression.
