Rinzai roku Reading Group Concluded its Spring 2025 Weekly Sessions

Our Rinzai roku (Linji lu 临济录) reading group has successfully concluded the weekly reading sessions during the spring semester. Team members read the text, compiled a bibliography, and examined 16 binders of scans of the translation notes. 

These translation notes were the collaborative work of Ruth Fuller Sasaki, Philip Yampolsky, Burton Watson, Gary Snyder, Iriya Yoshitaka and Yanagida Seizan, who participated in a translation project in the 1950s.
