Jinhui Wu Wins the First Place in the 2020 GPSC Student Showcase

Jinhui Wu, doctoral candidate and research associate of the Department of East Asian Studies, was recently awarded first place at the 2020 student showcase organized by the Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) of the University of Arizona. Her project “Novel Methods and Activities for Teaching Chinese Culture and Philosophy” proposes straightforward and engaging techniques and activities using games and digital tools to introduce the intellectual, cultural and religious facets of the Chinese civilization. Jinhui’s project and presentation stood out of approximately 120 participants from the University of Arizona.
